Garlic spinach – how to cook

Garlic spinach is a simple and flavorful side dish that can complement various main courses. This recipe highlights the natural taste of spinach while infusing it with the aromatic and savory notes of garlic.
Ingredients
- 900g/2 lb fresh spinach
- 2 tbsp. peanut oil
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tsp chopped lemon grass
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp. dark soy sauce
- 2 tsp brown sugar
Directions
- Heat the oil, reduce the heat slightly and sauté garlic and lemon grass for 30 seconds.
- Add the spinach and salt and stir-fry for a further 1 minute.
- Add the soy-sauce and sugar and cook for further 1 more minute.
- Transferred to plate and serve with immediately
